Anna is an experienced entrepreneur and co-founder of Danish fashion brand Becksöndergaard Copenhagen, which was later sold to a private equity fund. Her main areas of expertise include business development, sales, distribution, product and pricing strategy as well as professionalization and scaling of start-ups.

Besides this, Anna has been actively involved as a board member, advisor and investor in a number of start-ups within industries such as sustainable fashion and apparel, Internet of Things and lifestyle over the past 10 years.

Passionate about entrepreneurship, building companies and always challenging the status quo, Anna embodies a commercial mindset and a hands-on approach to business development and strategy formulation. She’s a firm believer in integrity and that people are key to any success and she has a strong talent for building bridges between various stakeholders in organizations.

Anna holds a Master of Science in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School. Before starting her own company, she worked in consulting with McKinsey & Company and as Project Manager within advertising for Lowe Worldwide.

Annabelle is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Climate Change at the University of Copenhagen. Being passionate about sustainability and environmental matters in particular, she holds a special interest in finding avenues for companies to strategically transition towards more sustainable business models and reduce their environmental and ecological footprint.

Annabelle holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration & Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Sciences from Leuphana University in Germany. During her studies she has worked in the field of sustainability through her student positions at the Faculty of Sustainability at Leuphana University and KPMG Sustainability Services, where she has taken part in various advisory and audit projects across a range of industries.

As a sustainability advocate at Station in Copenhagen, a community of impact-driven students and young professionals, Annabelle is committed to promoting green mobility. Furthermore, she has been a volunteer at Sneep, a student initiative that aims to promote and challenge the discourse on ethical and sustainable management and encourage people to think outside the boundaries of the classical economy.

Asbjørn has 3 years combined sustainability consulting experience working primarily within carbon accounting, development of decarbonisation levers and broader sustainability strategies. With international study and working experience, Asbjørn thrives in diverse environments where tackling complex sustainability challenges has been a recurring theme throughout his studies and professional work.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm in 2021, Asbjørn was a central part of building Frederiksberg’s Sustainability Council consisting of recognized experts. As a consultant for the council, Asbjørn supported the experts in advising Frederiksberg’s mayor and local politicians on various sustainability challenges and opportunities including initiatives to decarbonize the energy and transportation sectors. Asbjørn has also held a student position at EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability team focusing primarily on sustainability reporting.

Asbjørn holds a Master of Science in International Marketing and Management with a minor in Sustainable Business and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Copenhagen Business School where part of his degree was completed at Singapore Management University.

Asger has 6+ years of consulting experience with focus on helping industrial companies to uncover unmet needs and define novel strategies to meet those needs through sustainable digital products and services applying methodologies from applied design thinking, circular economy and quantitative modelling.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Asger worked as a Principal Consultant in PA Consulting Group, leading teams on strategy and business transformation assignments in the life science industry and public healthcare. His primary focus was building new digital ecosystems around patients to increase data on new opportunities and unarticulated needs in wider population groups and become more data-driven in decision-making. Asger’s industry experience also covers financial institutions and renewable energy.

Asger finds great inspiration and energy in advising digital health start-ups and scale-ups around market access, strategy development, customer segmentation and lean start-up methods and has engaged in start-up advisory for the past 3 years in his spare time.

Moreover, Asger has worked with multiple secretariats of the United Nations Global Compact in New York and in Copenhagen, enforcing sustainability policies from a global governance perspective while developing actionable tools for UNGC signatories to better integrate sustainability into core operations.

Asger holds a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Business Management from Harvard University with a specialisation in Innovation, and a BSc and MSc in International Business & Politics from Copenhagen Business School.

Beth has 2+ years combined sustainability consulting experience working primarily within the climate sphere, being passionate about global sustainability and the potential of innovation to combat major environmental issues.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, Beth worked as Sustainability Consultant at Nordic Sustainability developing environmental strategies for large Danish and international corporations. Her main focus was advising companies on implementation of environmental strategies into management processes as well as assisting in the development of carbon reduction programs working extensively with calculation of baselines and development of Science Based Targets. Moreover, Beth has worked for the Dutch circular economy company Metabolic, applying systems thinking and data science to assist businesses and NGOs to become engaged in the circular economy space.

Beth holds a Bachelor from University of Edinburgh in Geography and a Master of Science from the University of Copenhagen in Physical Geography and Geoinformatics.

Carl is an engineer student with focus on Design & Innovation and currently finishing his Bachelor of Science in Engineering at The Technical University of Denmark.

Being passionate about sustainable solutions and innovative design, Carl holds a special interest in how technology, product development and construction can play a role in solving the climate crisis.

During the past 3 years, Carl has been part of the start-up Plogging Union, which he has also co-founded, – a voluntary initiative that combines exercise and trash collection with the goal of achieving a cleaner environment.

Christian has 5 years of management consulting experience, working primarily with strategy and business transformation projects.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Christian, was Senior Manager at Bain & Company and QVARTZ, where he advised in the energy and renewables sector, especially offshore wind. Christian’s project experience has been within strategy, transformation projects, organization and operational excellence, sourcing and procurement and M&A. Christian’s industry experience also covers engagements in telecommunications, medical technology and for public institutions among others. Besides this Christian has experience within economic consulting, especially socio-economic impact analyses within infrastructure, environment and tourism for public institutions and utilities. Moreover, Christian worked for top-tier boutique strategy consulting firm, Port Jackson Partners, in Sydney, Australia.

Christian holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Aarhus University with an emphasis on International Economic Consulting and a double degree with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Aarhus University and in Management from Clemson University. Part of his degree was completed at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Christian has 16 years of advisory experience with deep knowledge and practical experience from a large number of fields, including corporate strategy, sustainability strategy and implementation, large-scale organizational optimization, digitalization, corporate governance and public-private collaboration.

Possessing a high level of experience across a number of industries, including consumer goods, transportation, the public sector and interest groups, Christian has served as a trusted advisor to a number of executives in private and public companies. Christian is an exceptional thinker with an ability to always raise the bar and is specialized in working with strategy and organization in complex settings, advising clients on how to align organizational operating models with desired strategic direction.

Christian holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. His former positions include Senior Partner at QVARTZ, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at GN Netcom A/S and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company.

Emil has 10 years combined experience as a management consultant, working with realising sustainability projects in the built environment.

Emil was most recently employed as Chief Strategy Officer at Lendager Group, a leading player within the circular economy space in the built environment, where he was responsible for defining the overall business plan and had interim responsibilities for the material company that oversaw production of upcycled building materials. Prior to this, Emil worked as a manager at QVARTZ where he focused on defining corporate strategies for various clients, identification and implementation of business potentials in operations, operating models and organisational transformations for large clients and due diligence on technical targets.

Emil holds a Master of Science in Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark in Design & Innovation and has worked with sustainability for more than 10 years: initially within a student organisation that created teaching material for high school curricula in order to inspire students to pursue careers within green technology, and later as a volunteer for the 10:10 Climate Action campaign based out of the UK. Emil continues his voluntary work to this day as the lead for Roskilde Festival’s analysis team.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm and alongside her studies, Emilie has worked as a consultant for different organizations on projects related to corporate sustainability, impact assessments and strategy development including estimating environmental risks and opportunities for the German q-commerce service DeliveryHero and formulating a green mobility strategy for the educational institution ESCP Business School.

Emilie is passionate about sustainability and regeneration with a specific interest in the intersection between environmental degradation and social injustice. Her exposure to both French and Chinese culture has offered her an understanding of the socio-ecological challenges met by the Global North and Global South. Therefore, she believes that a holistic and multi-stakeholder approach is necessary to achieve true sustainability.

Emilie is currently a volunteer at Actory, an interdisciplinary association with the aim of creating short and long-term sustainable change through co-creation.

Emilie holds a Master of Science in International Sustainability Management from ESCP Business School (Berlin, Paris) and a Bachelor in Business Administration at ESSEC Business School (Paris, Singapore), with part of her degree completed at Copenhagen Business School.

Emma has experience from management consulting within the private sector, where she has worked with commercial and ESG due diligence, sustainability sales strategy and project management. She is passionate about the global sustainability agenda and has a great interest in the link between digital technologies and carbon emission reductions.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm Emma worked with EY-Parthenon, the strategy consulting practice of EY, and held student positions with Bech-Bruun and McKinsey & Company during her studies. Moreover, Emma has been involved in volunteer work for the UN initiative UNLEASH on sustainable development.

Emma holds two master’s degrees – a Master of Science in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School and a Master in Management and Digital Business from IE Business School in Madrid. During her studies Emma lived six months in Singapore and a year in Spain.

Eva has 7 years of combined experience from consulting and sustainability, where she has worked with strategy development and implementation in the private, public and semi-public sectors amongst others within energy and renewables. With a passion for understanding and addressing societal challenges, Eva is particularly interested in organisations with multiple bottom lines.

Before joining The Footprint Firm Eva worked for 3.5 years at QVARTZ and Bain & Company and before this at the Danish think tank, Monday Morning, where she developed publications and projects at the forefront of the sustainability agenda. She has also co-founded a research project about the history of human rights in cooperation with Columbia University and brought the project to Denmark in partnership with the Danish Institute of Human Rights and the Royal Danish Library.

Eva holds a dual Master’s degree in International History from Columbia University and the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from LSE.

Frederik has +3 years of experience from management consulting within the private sector working primarily with strategy development and M&A. He is passionate about helping companies and investors navigate the transition to a low-carbon and resource-efficient economy and has a great interest in the field of sustainable finance.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Frederik worked with EY-Parthenon, the strategy consulting practice of EY, where he advised private equity funds on commercial due diligence projects across a broad range of industries. Prior to this, Frederik interned in a Zambian venture capital fund, Kukula Seed, supporting investments and growth initiatives in local start-ups. Frederik has held student positions in EY-Parthenon, Novo Nordisk and Spencer Stuart.

Frederik holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics and Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Project Management from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) where part of his degree was completed at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Outside work, Frederik enjoys sports, mainly football, badminton, and running, and is passionate about music.

Henriette has 7 years of consulting experience working across a large number of different areas such as corporate and business unit strategy development and implementation, organizational optimization, procurement and sales excellence.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, Henriette worked as a Manager at QVARTZ where she focused on clients within consumer products in both B2B and B2C settings, industry and nonprofit organizations. She has primarily focused on transformations and strategy execution – translating strategic direction into actionable plans and providing hands-on execution support to client teams. Henriette has a broad international experience latest from spending two years in the US being a part of the team establishing the QVARTZ office in New York.

Henriette holds a Master of Science in Economics & Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.

Ida is currently studying for her Master of Science in Climate Change at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on climate mitigation and adaptation. With a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School, Ida is especially passionate about finding ways for businesses to balance financial and environmental consideration, to operate in harmony with the natural environment. As part of her bachelor, Ida completed an exchange program at Oxford Brookes University with a focus on sustainable business.

During her studies, Ida worked with Red Cross in Copenhagen, where she familiarized herself with the non-governmental sector. Most recently she gained experiences with the public sector, where she held a student position in the Ministry of Finance in Denmark. In addition, Ida has dedicated time to volunteer work in the Green Youth Movement in Copenhagen, focusing on climate activism.

Isabella holds a Master’s in Innovation and Global Sustainable Development at Lund University. She wrote her thesis on food transitions and sustainable farming practices in the Costa Rican context and has a strong interest in providing innovative and manageable solutions to the sustainability challenges facing the global society.

Isabella is very passionate about raising sustainability awareness and creating lasting social impacts. She is an active volunteer in 180 Degrees Consulting, the largest and leading social impact student consultancy worldwide where she holds a position of consulting director being in charge of client acquisition and guiding consultants on projects.

Isabella holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Siena (Italy) and has studied in Denmark, India, the USA and Italy, mastering Danish, Spanish, English and Italian fluently.

Jakob has 10+ years of management consulting and business development experience working primarily with strategy and transformation projects.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Jakob worked 2+ years as Director of Business Development in Arla Foods responsible for Strategy & Business Development in Arla’s International markets (outside Europe) as well as leading a team of global business development managers across the globe.

Before Arla, Jakob was a Manager at QVARTZ (now Bain & Co), where he advised in the Consumer Goods and Private Equity sector. Jakob’s project experience includes strategy, transformation, commercial excellence, organization, sourcing excellence and M&A. Jakob’s industry experience also covers engagements in the automotive, energy and construction sector.

Prior to QVARTZ, Jakob worked 2 years as a consultant in Booz & Company (now Strategy&) living in Amsterdam.

Jakob holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling & Computation from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with a focus on applied statistics and operational research. Part of his degree was completed at RMIT in Melbourne.

Jakob has several years of experience as an entrepreneur, investor and management consultant with significant international experience. He especially thrives in diverse cultural and professional environments, as he has worked as an advisor and investor across the world and across multiple industries, with governments, academia, civil society and international organizations. Jakob specializes in start-ups, sales and investments.

In 2011, he founded his own boutique consultancy as a response to the democratic movements in the Middle East and Africa that erupted in step with the Arab Spring revolutions. The company was later merged into Voluntas where Jakob has served as CEO and co-owner, as well as working with the advisory and investment sub-brands contributing to building the organization, growing the business as well as initiating new start-ups and establishing new offices. In 2008, Jakob co-founded the purpose-driven and renewable-only utility Natur-Energi, a company that was sold in 2017 after having built a significant client base.

Jakob holds a Master of Public Theory from University of Essex and a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Aarhus. His former positions include CEO and Co-founder of Voluntas Group, including Voluntas Advisory and Voluntas Investment, Co-founder of Natur-Energi and other work with the World Bank, DanChurchAid and Epinion.

Jonas has 10+ years of investment, corporate finance, and strategy experience from both philanthropy, private equity and venture capital as well as from investment banking.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Jonas was Head of Strategy & Special Projects and member of the Senior Leadership Team in the Novo Nordisk Foundation, with responsibility for impact investments and philanthropic strategy in both health and sustainability. Also, Jonas served on the Investment Advisory Board of Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest and has been involved in the corporate governance development of the Novo Nordisk Foundation group of companies.

Prior to this Jonas worked at Novo Holdings, the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s investment company, covering an array of life science investments in sustainability, health and biotech companies, ranging from early start-ups to large mature companies in both the private and public space.

Moreover, Jonas worked for a leading Danish M&A advisor FIH Partners, where he advised on a variety of transactions.

Jonas holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics and Finance as well as a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and has studied at Harvard.

Jonas is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Copenhagen. Next to his studies Jonas has worked in the field of climate and sustainability through student positions at Sustainia and KR Foundation. Here, amongst other things he gained insight into root causes of climate change such as economic structures, climate communications and the fossil fuel sector.

Jonas is passionate about sustainability and the climate crisis in particular, and holds a special interest in exploring how we can live a thriving life within the planetary boundaries. Moreover, his is a firm believer that we can only address the climate crisis if we collaborate across all parts of society and include both social, ecological and economic aspects.

Jonas holds a BSc of Economics from the University of Copenhagen where he did his bachelor project green growth from the perspective of ecological economics. In addition, he has studied two years of Psychology at University of Copenhagen.

Kenneth is a project management student with a passion for sustainability and business development. He has experience in developing sustainable business practices and sustainable business models from working with various SMEs and start-ups across industries in his previous job as student assistant with Copenhagen Business Hub, where he has also contributed to a publication on sustainable businesses.

Kenneth is currently taking a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Project Management at Copenhagen Business School. He seeks to merge the tools and knowledge of project management with his passion for sustainable business development. During his studies Kenneth has been a part of the organising committee of CBS Case Competition as well as co-founder of Business Battlefield.

Klara has a background from the Danish Ministry of Environment where she spent 2 years as part of the office for circular economy developing and implementing sustainability policies. Moreover, Klara worked with estimating the environmental and economical effects of policy actions, advised on economic regulation of resources and waste, and lead the implementation of central initiatives on green public procurement.

Klara is passionate about global sustainability in all its senses and has a specific interest in the circular economy and its potential for combatting both climate change and biodiversity loss through innovative changes in the way we globally consume and produce products and services. Klara has has lived several years abroad, including in Argentina and Brazil, which has given her a solid understanding of the environmental problems faced by developing countries and the urgency for developed countries to take on the responsibility of promoting sustainable practices in their global supply chains.

Klara holds a Bachelor and Master degree in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School, where her thesis focused on the motivational drivers of sustainability efforts in the pharmaceutical industry of Europe. Additionally, Klara holds a Master’s degree in economics from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. During her studies, Klara worked for Deloitte in the Department of Government Strategy and Operations and in The Danish Ministry of Finance in their Department of International Economics.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Lea worked 2.5 years with strategic management consulting and the green agenda in an international context. Lea has worked at the Ministry of Finance as part of the Centre for Climate, the Environment and the EU, where she simultaneously worked with the EU-budget and international environment and climate. In this role she had to navigate international political environments, enable decision makers to address complex issues and coordinate government processes. Prior to this, Lea worked as a consultant at Struensee & Co., a strategic management consulting firm with main focus on the public sector. During her studies Lea worked as a student intern for Rambøll, as well as being the president of the student organisation Djøf Students.

Lea is passionate about climate issues and the stakeholder dynamics related thereto. She enjoys analytical thinking that goes beyond the subject matter and also involves navigating stakeholder management. Besides this, Lea has a particularly strong interest in biodiversity.

Lea holds a Masters of Science in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School and completed part of her degree at the SKEMA business school in France.

Lisa has 3+ years of experience working in corporate sustainability at private and non-governmental organizations. She is passionate about leveraging the power of non-state actors in driving transformative change and is a strong advocate of adopting a more holistic lens when tackling environmental challenges.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, most recently Lisa worked at CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project), a leading environmental NGO, where she has been overseeing corporate engagement in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As part of her role, Lisa supported DAX companies and other stock-listed corporations across hard-to-abate industries and the financial sector on their sustainability journey, advising them on areas such as environmental reporting, science-based target setting, renewable energy procurement, and Scope 3 emissions reduction. Prior to this Lisa worked with strategic brand consulting focusing on sustainability-related topics, workshop facilitation and new business development at Zeichen & Wunder.

Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in International Business & Management from the MCI Management Center Innsbruck and completed a program in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

Liza has 6 years of sustainability experience from consulting, the private sector and working with NGOs. For the past 3.5 years, Liza has been working in Climate Change and Sustainability Services at EY Denmark, where she has played a central role in developing the team and service offerings.

Liza has worked on a number of projects for both smaller and larger Danish companies in areas such as sustainability strategy, climate risk assessments and TCFD, sustainability reporting, ESG due diligence, responsible procurement, and human rights. Prior to joining EY, Liza worked at ALDI Denmark, where she was part of starting up the Corporate Responsibility department at the Danish HQ.

Liza holds a double degree in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School and CEMS Master of International Management from Copenhagen Business School and Saint Petersburg Graduate School of Management. Throughout her studies, Liza has been working with and volunteering for several NGOs, including Globalt Fokus, Oxfam Ibis, and FRAD Cartagena, a small local NGO in Columbia working to promote animal rights.

Louise has 4+ years of experience as a management consultant within both the public and private sector working for Boston Consulting Group in Australia as well as leading the in-house consultancy in the Business & Energy Department in the UK.

In her previous job, Louise specialised in major capital spending. She has advised on some of the UK Government’s largest energy & climate change projects, as well as government infrastructure agencies and managed negotiations for the UK’s ~£20bn 5 year education capital budget.

Prior to this, Louise worked as a policy advisor in the UK and Australian governments within a range of social policy areas including criminal justice reform, population health and adult skills.

Louise holds a First class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Marina has 6 years of combined experience within management consulting, business development, and from working with NGOs. Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, Marina held a role as Sustainability Consultant at Sofies UK (now part of dss+) and has taken part in developing sustainability strategies for both the private and public sector with particular focus on circular economy, extended producer responsibility and the EU Green Deal.

Marina thrives with developing solutions for complex problems and is passionate about the environment in general and ocean health in particular. In the past, she has engaged in several projects related to climate action in companies such as COWI and UN Environment, and served as the inaugural Co-Chair of the Youth Policy Advisory Council of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance. She has also founded two entrepreneurial projects focused on the circular economy in São Paulo, Brazil.

She holds a MSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a BSc in Economics from Insper Institute of Education and Research, São Paulo.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Meriam was 13 years with Deloitte, where she held a position as Senior Manager for the last five years working closely with the managing partner of Deloitte Consulting and the leadership team on strategy development and implementation hereof, business and concept development as well as being responsible for the strategic communication agenda. Also, she took on a leading role on the leadership development, diversity and inclusion and future of work agendas. Before that, Meriam worked as a management consultant in Deloitte Denmark within strategy, business development, sourcing and M&A in the consumer goods and energy sector.

Meriam is motivated by purpose-driven endeavours and is a proud and active member of the board of directors at Game, an international NGO that works for social change through youth-led street sports and culture in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Meriam holds a Masters degree in Finance and Strategic Management and a Bachelor degree in International Business from Copenhagen Business School with part of her degree completed at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as well as the University of North Carolina. Moreover, Meriam has a Bachelor degree in Psychology at the University of Copenhagen.

Mette has 4 years of experience from management consulting and finance. The past 2.5 years Mette has been part of Ramboll Management Consulting’s Strategy & Sustainability Advisory division with main focus on renewable energy, advising clients in related industries including onshore and offshore wind, waste-to-energy, electric vehicles charging infrastructure and district energy. Moreover, Mette has worked with commercial due diligence and M&A, market analysis and organizational analysis.

Mette has a passion for green transitioning and fostering long-term business opportunities through the transition process. She thrives with complex problem solving and has a broad experience working on engineering-led projects, where her role has been to bridge complex technical insights with areas of commercial interest.

Mette holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Birmingham.

Prior to working in consulting, Mette worked in Nordea and has been an intern in UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.

Mikkel has 5 years of experience as a management consultant within both the private and the public sector. He has worked across a number of fields including strategy development, CSR, organizational optimization, budget analysis and digitalization.

Passionate about societal change at scale and people development, Mikkel has worked with advisory within a range of areas and industries including transportation, life science, education, justice and defense.

Mikkel holds a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. His former positions include Senior Consultant at Novo Nordisk Consulting and Consultant at Struensee & Co.

Nicolas holds a Master’s in Strategy, Organization and Leadership at Copenhagen Business School with a minor in Circular Economy. Nicolas has a strong interest in the transition of linear business model into circular solutions and wrote his master’s thesis on barriers to circular start-ups and strategies to overcome the complexity of circular business models.

Nicolas has worked on several projects focusing on sustainable challenges including supporting on the business development of LØS market— Denmark’s first zero-waste supermarket concept alongside supporting his family’s permaculture coffee business. Additionally, he is a part of the CBS Climate Club – an organization focused on building new partnerships, developing projects and promoting sustainability on campus.

Originally Nicolas is French, Swiss and Cameroonian. After finishing his high school in San Francisco he spent 1.5 years in the Swiss army and 5 years ago he decided to move to Copenhagen, where he completed his Bachelor in Service management (Service and Innovation) at Copenhagen Business School.

Nikolaj has 7 years of consulting experience across several industries with focus on renewable energy, consumer goods and private equity. Nikolaj is passionate about the sustainability agenda, in particular the further development of clean energy sources, as well as habitat protection for flora and fauna.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Nikolaj worked as a Manager for consulting firm QVARTZ helping clients in a number of areas with main focus on development and implementation of corporate and business unit strategies, commercial excellence initiatives, due diligences and change management programs. Nikolaj has a broad international experience serving clients across 10+ countries on four continents and enjoys working with people from different cultures. During his time at QVARTZ, Nikolaj spent six months in Sydney and two years in Singapore, establishing a local office there.

Nikolaj holds a Master of Science in Economics and Management from Aarhus University including an exchange semester at University of Technology in Sydney.

Nina has 8 years of consulting experience working with large-scale transformations, primarily in the intersection between business, IT, and processes. As a project manager Nina has significant experience in driving strategic and tactical business clarifications, including defining the business’s vision and capabilities, identifying and prioritising business requirements, and working together with both the business and IT to define and implement solutions.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, Nina worked as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting where she worked with clients within financial services and the public sector. She primarily focused on driving digital transformations and strategy execution – designing target operating models, future capabilities, and processes. Furthermore, Nina has worked as a project manager in Greenland for Comby, an IT company where she helped establish their advisory department.

Nina holds a Master of Science in IT, Communication & Organisation from Aarhus School of Business including an internship with Pressalit.

Phil has 10+ years of management consulting experience. Before joining The Footprint Firm, Phil worked for 8 years with Bain & Company (formerly QVARTZ) as an Associate Partner within the global Sustainability & Responsibility practice. During this time, he helped to develop Bain’s offerings, perspectives and ecosystem relating to the Carbon Transition, and the Circular Economy.

Phil has advised companies on sustainability strategy and business model development and supported investors to understand sustainability risks and opportunities as part of due diligence. He has co-authored perspectives on climate change reporting in private markets, as well as potential opportunities for companies inspired by the circular economy. Phil’s consulting experience also spans strategy and transformation advisory, where he has worked with global companies in consumer products and manufacturing, as well as energy, healthcare and financial services with the last 5 years dedicated to supporting companies on sustainability.

Prior to Bain & Company, Phil was a Senior Associate for Pacific Strategy Partners for 3 years, before which he was a Senior Consultant at PwC for 6 years, both based in Australia.

Phil holds a Bachelor or Commerce from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Finance and Accounting. He was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 2011. He completed the GRI Standards Certificate in 2019.

Pierce has 5+ years of consulting experience specializing in commercial excellence, digital strategy and business building.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Pierce worked as a Consultant in Bain & Company, working on projects to improve go-to-market strategy for consumer goods companies and large industrial players, helping clients better adapt to customer needs and realize value from their digital assets. Also, he was part of Bain’s Innovation & Business Building practice leading validation and prototype development projects, and supporting companies in setting up new businesses.

From a sector perspective, Pierce has had a primary focus on consumer products and healthcare, with a secondary focus on renewable energy and manufacturing.

Moreover, Pierce also briefly worked on a start-up of his own within life sciences, focusing on developing a novel delivery method for anti-viral treatments and raising funding for pre-formulation and go-to-market validation.

Pierce holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Strategic Management, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Politics. During his studies he also spent time at the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore.

Rene has served as CFO/Financial Director since 2003 in a number of Danish, international and listed corporations across a variety of industries, products and services. During this period, Rene has worked abroad for 8 years being based in Malaysia and USA.

Most recently, Rene was Chief Financial Officer at SteelSeries – global player within computer gaming, where he led a large financial turnaround and ultimately transacted the company to new Private Equity ownership. Rene is passionate about the interaction between business processes, financial decisions, optimization and doing the right thing for the long run, as opposed to short term gain.

Rene holds a Master of Science in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School.

Ruben is a climate activist and has 1+ year of experience in sustainability consulting, calculating greenhouse gas emissions and developing carbon reduction strategies with The Footprint Firm as a Junior Consultant.

Ruben holds a Bachelor of Science in Design & Innovation from The Technical University of Denmark specializing in sustainable product development and life cycle assessment of products and services and did his bachelor’s project on developing and implementing systems for waste sorting in large institutions.

Moreover, Ruben as spent a year teaching 7th graders science and volunteering in the Balkans, and co-founded the climate club: “Klimastrikkeklubben”(The Climate Knitting Club) for people developing and executing non-profit-oriented actions toward small-scale mitigation and adaptation to climate change.

Saida has 5 years of consultancy experience from sustainably software and strategic advisory, where she has worked with formulation of sustainability strategies, ESG Data Management and Assurance, ESG reporting, CO2e baselining according to the GHG Protocol as well as implementation of sustainability guidelines and standards including CDP, SASB, GRI and TCFD.

Before joining The Footprint firm, Saida worked at Intelex Technologies ULC in Toronto, Canada, where she led large scale sustainability software implementation projects with companies across a wide range of industries ranging from Financial Institutions, Energy, Mining, Food and Beverages and Pharmaceutical. Prior to this, Saida was part of establishing and subsequently leading Intelex Techonologies’ CSR department where she took part in developing the reporting framework for yearly CSR reporting.
Being passionate about contributing to solving the climate crisis, Saida believes in the necessity of finding solutions through collaboration, innovation and good governance.

Saida holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University and a Graduate degree in Management from McGill University.

Sara is an engineer with a creative mindset, who is passionate about sustainable design. Prior to joining The Footprint Firm full time, Sara has been working part time in the company as a Junior Consultant assisting on a wide range of projects within formulation of sustainability strategies, establishment of ESG reporting, CO₂e baselining, TCFD analyses, SDG mapping and commercialization of sustainability initiatives. In relation to her studies Sara has gained experience in identifying and developing opportunities for sustainable innovation and worked with these areas through a number of projects for start-ups and established industry players.

Sara holds a Master of Science in Engineering at The Technical University of Denmark in Design & Innovation, specializing in sustainability with main focus on servitisation, co-creation, holistic design and life cycle assessment. Sara is a firm believer in the need for innovation in both technologies and strategies to create sustainability impact, why her studies are focused on both technical and management aspects of sustainability.

Sigrid has 10+ years of experience within the legal profession and was most recently employed as Partner and lawyer at Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten, one of Denmark’s leading full-service law firms.

Sigrid has extensive experience providing legal and practical advice on diverse commercial disputes and litigation and has been representing Danish and international private clients, the public sector and the Danish Government in various fields of the law. Over the years, she has conducted a numerous of cases before Danish courts and have been the author of a large number of articles on insurance and tort law.

Besides this, she has been deeply involved in the strategy and development of Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten’s private businesses in Denmark and internationally.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm Sigrid has been part of a global trend as she chose to dedicate time for a planned career break spending a year on reflection, presence and transition. Sigrid has, among other things, used the break to delve into sustainable leadership and organisational psychology and she firmly believes, that kindness, inclusion and wise compassion are key features of sustainable development and organisational success.

Sigrid holds a Master of Law from the University of Copenhagen and part of her degree was completed in UC Hastings, San Francisco. Sigrid is in recent editions of the Legal 500 recognised as “Next Generation Partner” with clients describing her with the following words: “She goes the extra mile and then some for her clients. She has an excellent grasp of the detail. She is a real team player and an absolute pleasure to work with. Her organisational and project management skills are invaluable.”

Sofie specializes in administration, onboarding, event coordination, front office, learning and development. Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, she spent 5.5 years at McKinsey & Company at the Copenhagen office in their office support and people function. Sofie has a strong passion for inclusion and is known for her exceptional interpersonal skills.

Tamas has 4 years of experience in driving strategic and operational change at large organisations in London and Copenhagen, working at the intersection of business strategy and analytics transformation.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Tamas worked as a Management Consultant in London at Deloitte for 3.5 years, followed by a transfer to the company’s Copenhagen office. He has extensive experience within business strategy, large-scale technology transformation and operating model design, as well as a deep understanding of the financial services sector.

Tamas is passionate about supporting organisations along their sustainability journeys by baselining their environmental impact and implementing sustainable, climate positive solutions. He also holds a keen interest in incorporating nature-based solutions to sustainability strategy. Tamas holds a Master’s degree in Economics from The University of Glasgow.

Will is a scientist by training, holding a first class masters in Natural Sciences (MSc) from the University of Cambridge studying subjects from math, to computational modelling, to the history and philosophy of science, but specialised in materials science including working on batteries, artificial muscles and liquid walls for nuclear fusion reactors.

Will’s experience ranges from consulting at PWC Strategy&, to working in education access, healthcare, philanthropy, accountancy, teaching, software and, most recently, founding a non-profit organisation. This non-profit aims to coordinate the clothing purchases of many small organisations to normalise informed ethical consumption and financially incentivise ethical production in the fashion industry. Will also currently co-leads a global organisation in this field, Shaping Fashion, as part of a WEF initiative to reform the industry.

As a passionate queer intersectional feminist, Will looks to gather diverse perspectives in order to critically examine the social function of corporations, drawing on and mainstreaming powerful observations from sidelined voices. Also, Will is a firm believer that creating sustainable transformation is inseparable from social factors, and so is best solved by bringing together diverse ideas and diverse people. Outside of work, Will enjoys climbing, playing hockey, performing stand-up comedy and learning languages.

Will has 5+ years’ collective experience across strategy consulting and high-impact entrepreneurship having worked across Europe, South America and Africa.

Before joining The Footprint Firm, Will worked for 4.5 years at Bain & Company in Copenhagen, where he advised clients on a variety of strategic and operational challenges, primarily in Consumer Goods, Tech, Energy and Industry. At Bain, Will developed a passion helping large corporates navigate their decarbonisation journeys, which he sees as having a huge role to play in climate change mitigation. During this period, he also spent 6 months in Colombia helping to scale local start-ups.

Outside work, Will plays a lot of sport, mainly tennis, hockey and running, as well as being a keen musician. He holds a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences from UCL, where he majored in Physics and Physical Chemistry and during these studies, he also spent a year at McGill University in Canada.

Zakarias is currently finishing his Bachelor of Science in International Business and Politics at Copenhagen Business School. Zakarias is especially motivated by how businesses can create incentives for consumers and business partners to adopt more sustainable behaviours. Also, he is very interested in the interdisciplinary aspects of working with the sustainable agenda. As part of his studies, Zakarias studied abroad for a semester in Hawaii where he took courses on consumer behaviour, development studies, and sustainability.

During his bachelor, Zakarias has worked with sustainable investments at AP Pension, where he, among other things, took part in making CO2e reduction strategies, monitoring green investments as well as writing TCFD and CSR reports. Zakarias has also been engaged in the study board of his bachelor program and in the student organisation CBS Case Club.
