Anna is an experienced entrepreneur and co-founder of Danish fashion brand Becksöndergaard Copenhagen, which was later sold to a private equity fund. Her main areas of expertise include business development, sales, distribution, product and pricing strategy as well as professionalization and scaling of start-ups.
Besides this, Anna has been actively involved as a board member, advisor and investor in a number of start-ups within industries such as sustainable fashion and apparel, Internet of Things and lifestyle over the past 10 years.

Asbjørn has 3 years combined sustainability consulting experience working primarily within carbon accounting, development of decarbonisation levers and broader sustainability strategies. With international study and working experience, Asbjørn thrives in diverse environments where tackling complex sustainability challenges has been a recurring theme throughout his studies and professional work.
Prior to joining The Footprint Firm in 2021, Asbjørn was a central part of building Frederiksberg’s Sustainability Council consisting of recognized experts. As a consultant for the council, Asbjørn supported the experts in advising Frederiksberg’s mayor and local politicians on various sustainability challenges and opportunities including initiatives to decarbonize the energy and transportation sectors. Before joining The Footprint Firm, Asger worked as a Principal Consultant in PA Consulting Group, leading teams on strategy and business transformation assignments in the life science industry and public healthcare. His primary focus was building new digital ecosystems around patients to increase data on new opportunities and unarticulated needs in wider population groups and become more data-driven in decision-making. Asger’s industry experience also covers financial institutions and renewable energy.
Asger finds great inspiration and energy in advising digital health start-ups and scale-ups around market access, strategy development, customer segmentation and lean start-up methods and has engaged in start-up advisory for the past 3 years in his spare time.
Moreover, Asger has worked with multiple secretariats of the United Nations Global Compact in New York and in Copenhagen, enforcing sustainability policies from a global governance perspective while developing actionable tools for UNGC signatories to better integrate sustainability into core operations.

Emil has 10 years combined experience as a management consultant, working with realising sustainability projects in the built environment.
Emil was most recently employed as Chief Strategy Officer at Lendager Group, a leading player within the circular economy space in the built environment, where he was responsible for defining the overall business plan and had interim responsibilities for the material company that oversaw production of upcycled building materials. Prior to this, Emil worked as a manager at QVARTZ where he focused on defining corporate strategies for various clients, identification and implementation of business potentials in operations, operating models and organisational transformations for large clients and due diligence on technical targets.

Emilie is passionate about sustainability and regeneration with a specific interest in the intersection between environmental degradation and social injustice. Her exposure to both French and Chinese culture has offered her an understanding of the socio-ecological challenges met by the Global North and Global South. Therefore, she believes that a holistic and multi-stakeholder approach is necessary to achieve true sustainability.

Klara has a background from the Danish Ministry of Environment where she spent 2 years as part of the office for circular economy developing and implementing sustainability policies. Moreover, Klara worked with estimating the environmental and economical effects of policy actions, advised on economic regulation of resources and waste, and lead the implementation of central initiatives on green public procurement.
Klara is passionate about global sustainability in all its senses and has a specific interest in the circular economy and its potential for combatting both climate change and biodiversity loss through innovative changes in the way we globally consume and produce products and services. Klara has has lived several years abroad, including in Argentina and Brazil, which has given her a solid understanding of the environmental problems faced by developing countries and the urgency for developed countries to take on the responsibility of promoting sustainable practices in their global supply chains.
Klara holds a Bachelor and Master degree in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School, where her thesis focused on the motivational drivers of sustainability efforts in the pharmaceutical industry of Europe. Before joining The Footprint Firm, Lea worked 2.5 years with strategic management consulting and the green agenda in an international context. Lea has worked at the Ministry of Finance as part of the Centre for Climate, the Environment and the EU, where she simultaneously worked with the EU-budget and international environment and climate. In this role she had to navigate international political environments, enable decision makers to address complex issues and coordinate government processes. Prior to this, Lea worked as a consultant at Struensee & Co., a strategic management consulting firm with main focus on the public sector. During her studies Lea worked as a student intern for Rambøll, as well as being the president of the student organisation Djøf Students.
Lea is passionate about climate issues and the stakeholder dynamics related thereto. She enjoys analytical thinking that goes beyond the subject matter and also involves navigating stakeholder management. Besides this, Lea has a particularly strong interest in biodiversity.

Prior to joining The Footprint Firm, most recently Lisa worked at CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project), a leading environmental NGO, where she has been overseeing corporate engagement in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As part of her role, Lisa supported DAX companies and other stock-listed corporations across hard-to-abate industries and the financial sector on their sustainability journey, advising them on areas such as environmental reporting, science-based target setting, renewable energy procurement, and Scope 3 emissions reduction. Prior to this Lisa worked with strategic brand consulting focusing on sustainability-related topics, workshop facilitation and new business development at Zeichen & Wunder.

Liza has worked on a number of projects for both smaller and larger Danish companies in areas such as sustainability strategy, climate risk assessments and TCFD, sustainability reporting, ESG due diligence, responsible procurement, and human rights. Prior to joining EY, Liza worked at ALDI Denmark, where she was part of starting up the Corporate Responsibility department at the Danish HQ.

Marina thrives with developing solutions for complex problems and is passionate about the environment in general and ocean health in particular. In the past, she has engaged in several projects related to climate action in companies such as COWI and UN Environment, and served as the inaugural Co-Chair of the Youth Policy Advisory Council of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance. She has also founded two entrepreneurial projects focused on the circular economy in São Paulo, Brazil.

Also, she took on a leading role on the leadership development, diversity and inclusion and future of work agendas. Before that, Meriam worked as a management consultant in Deloitte Denmark within strategy, business development, sourcing and M&A in the consumer goods and energy sector.

Nicolas holds a Master’s in Strategy, Organization and Leadership at Copenhagen Business School with a minor in Circular Economy. Nicolas has a strong interest in the transition of linear business model into circular solutions and wrote his master’s thesis on barriers to circular start-ups and strategies to overcome the complexity of circular business models.
Nicolas has worked on several projects focusing on sustainable challenges including supporting on the business development of LØS market— Denmark’s first zero-waste supermarket concept alongside supporting his family’s permaculture coffee business. Additionally, he is a part of the CBS Climate Club – an organization focused on building new partnerships, developing projects and promoting sustainability on campus.
Originally Nicolas is French, Swiss and Cameroonian. After finishing his high school in San Francisco he spent 1.5 years in the Swiss army and 5 years ago he decided to move to Copenhagen, where he completed his Bachelor in Service management (Service and Innovation) at Copenhagen Business School.

Nikolaj has 7 years of consulting experience across several industries with focus on renewable energy, consumer goods and private equity. Nikolaj is passionate about the sustainability agenda, in particular the further development of clean energy sources, as well as habitat protection for flora and fauna.
Before joining The Footprint Firm, Nikolaj worked as a Manager for consulting firm QVARTZ helping clients in a number of areas with main focus on development and implementation of corporate and business unit strategies, commercial excellence initiatives, due diligences and change management programs. Nikolaj has a broad international experience serving clients across 10+ countries on four continents and enjoys working with people from different cultures. During his time at QVARTZ, Nikolaj spent six months in Sydney and two years in Singapore, establishing a local office there.

Nina has 8 years of consulting experience working with large-scale transformations, primarily in the intersection between business, IT, and processes. Phil has 10+ years of management consulting experience. Before joining The Footprint Firm, Phil worked for 8 years with Bain & Company (formerly QVARTZ) as an Associate Partner within the global Sustainability & Responsibility practice. During this time, he helped to develop Bain’s offerings, perspectives and ecosystem relating to the Carbon Transition, and the Circular Economy.
Phil has advised companies on sustainability strategy and business model development and supported investors to understand sustainability risks and opportunities as part of due diligence. He has co-authored perspectives on climate change reporting in private markets, as well as potential opportunities for companies inspired by the circular economy. Phil’s consulting experience also spans strategy and transformation advisory, where he has worked with global companies in consumer products and manufacturing, as well as energy, healthcare and financial services with the last 5 years dedicated to supporting companies on sustainability.
Prior to Bain & Company, Phil was a Senior Associate for Pacific Strategy Partners for 3 years, before which he was a Senior Consultant at PwC for 6 years, both based in Australia.
Phil holds a Bachelor or Commerce from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Finance and Accounting. He was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 2011. He completed the GRI Standards Certificate in 2019.

Pierce has 5+ years of consulting experience specializing in commercial excellence, digital strategy and business building.
Before joining The Footprint Firm, Pierce worked as a Consultant in Bain & Company, working on projects to improve go-to-market strategy for consumer goods companies and large industrial players, helping clients better adapt to customer needs and realize value from their digital assets. Also, he was part of Bain’s Innovation & Business Building practice leading validation and prototype development projects, and supporting companies in setting up new businesses.
From a sector perspective, Pierce has had a primary focus on consumer products and healthcare, with a secondary focus on renewable energy and manufacturing.
Moreover, Pierce also briefly worked on a start-up of his own within life sciences, focusing on developing a novel delivery method for anti-viral treatments and raising funding for pre-formulation and go-to-market validation.

Rene has served as CFO/Financial Director since 2003 in a number of Danish, international and listed corporations across a variety of industries, products and services. During this period, Rene has worked abroad for 8 years being based in Malaysia and USA.
Most recently, Rene was Chief Financial Officer at SteelSeries – global player within computer gaming, where he led a large financial turnaround and ultimately transacted the company to new Private Equity ownership. Rene is passionate about the interaction between business processes, financial decisions, optimization and doing the right thing for the long run, as opposed to short term gain.

Ruben is a climate activist and has 1+ year of experience in sustainability consulting, calculating greenhouse gas emissions and developing carbon reduction strategies with The Footprint Firm as a Junior Consultant.
Ruben holds a Bachelor of Science in Design & Innovation from The Technical University of Denmark specializing in sustainable product development and life cycle assessment of products and services and did his bachelor’s project on developing and implementing systems for waste sorting in large institutions.

Prior to this, Saida was part of establishing and subsequently leading Intelex Techonologies’ CSR department where she took part in developing the reporting framework for yearly CSR reporting.

Sara is an engineer with a creative mindset, who is passionate about sustainable design. Prior to joining The Footprint Firm full time, Sara has been working part time in the company as a Junior Consultant assisting on a wide range of projects within formulation of sustainability strategies, establishment of ESG reporting, CO2e baselining, TCFD analyses, SDG mapping and commercialization of sustainability initiatives. Sigrid has 10+ years of experience within the legal profession and was most recently employed as Partner and lawyer at Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten, one of Denmark’s leading full-service law firms.
Sigrid has extensive experience providing legal and practical advice on diverse commercial disputes and litigation and has been representing Danish and international private clients, the public sector and the Danish Government in various fields of the law. Over the years, she has conducted a numerous of cases before Danish courts and have been the author of a large number of articles on insurance and tort law.
Besides this, she has been deeply involved in the strategy and development of Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten’s private businesses in Denmark and internationally.
Prior to joining The Footprint Firm Sigrid has been part of a global trend as she chose to dedicate time for a planned career break spending a year on reflection, presence and transition. Will is a scientist by training, holding a first class masters in Natural Sciences (MSc) from the University of Cambridge studying subjects from math, to computational modelling, to the history and philosophy of science, but specialised in materials science including working on batteries, artificial muscles and liquid walls for nuclear fusion reactors.
Will’s experience ranges from consulting at PWC Strategy&, to working in education access, healthcare, philanthropy, accountancy, teaching, software and, most recently, founding a non-profit organisation. This non-profit aims to coordinate the clothing purchases of many small organisations to normalise informed ethical consumption and financially incentivise ethical production in the fashion industry. Will also currently co-leads a global organisation in this field, Shaping Fashion, as part of a WEF initiative to reform the industry.
As a passionate queer intersectional feminist, Will looks to gather diverse perspectives in order to critically examine the social function of corporations, drawing on and mainstreaming powerful observations from sidelined voices. Also, Will is a firm believer that creating sustainable transformation is inseparable from social factors, and so is best solved by bringing together diverse ideas and diverse people. Before joining The Footprint Firm, Will worked for 4.5 years at Bain & Company in Copenhagen, where he advised clients on a variety of strategic and operational challenges, primarily in Consumer Goods, Tech, Energy and Industry. At Bain, Will developed a passion helping large corporates navigate their decarbonisation journeys, which he sees as having a huge role to play in climate change mitigation. During this period, he also spent 6 months in Colombia helping to scale local start-ups.
Outside work, Will plays a lot of sport, mainly tennis, hockey and running, as well as being a keen musician. He holds a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences from UCL, where he majored in Physics and Physical Chemistry and during these studies, he also spent a year at McGill University in Canada.

Zakarias is currently finishing his Bachelor of Science in International Business and Politics at Copenhagen Business School. Zakarias is especially motivated by how businesses can create incentives for consumers and business partners to adopt more sustainable behaviours. Also, he is very interested in the interdisciplinary aspects of working with the sustainable agenda. As part of his studies, Zakarias studied abroad for a semester in Hawaii where he took courses on consumer behaviour, development studies, and sustainability.
During his bachelor, Zakarias has worked with sustainable investments at AP Pension, where he, among other things, took part in making CO2e reduction strategies, monitoring green investments as well as writing TCFD and CSR reports. Zakarias has also been engaged in the study board of his bachelor program and in the student organisation CBS Case Club.
