InstallatørGruppen was founded in 2023 and is a leading technical installation group consisting of local technical installation companies within Heating and Plumbing, Electrical, Ventilation, Cooling and adjacent disciplines, operating across Denmark and Switzerland. From the set out, InstallatørGruppen has had the ambition to be a leader in sustainability, aiming to play an active part as partner in the green transition of its customers. InstallatørGruppen was listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen in June 2026.
The Footprint Firm has worked closely with InstallatørGruppen on sustainability and ESG related topics over a number of years. The work has been characterised by close team work to support the Group’s strong ambitions within sustainability and mature the strategy, processes and execution as part of the company’s rapid growth.

The project
The Footprint Firm has supported InstallatørGruppen across a number of projects spanning from ESG strategy, ESG DDs in relation to the Group’s M&A activities and preparing for upcoming CSRD reporting.
Our approach
The strategy process included establishing transparency on key ESG drivers including mapping the regulatory landscape to inform strategic discussions and decision on ambition level and strategic positioning, with subsequent development of strategic priorities and value-creating initiatives including the ESG approach as part of the Group’s well-defined M&A playbook. Following the strategy process, the supporting governance structure and process for implementation underpinning the strategy were developed.
The process involved a wide group of stakeholders and was carried out in close cooperation with InstallatørGruppen’s management team and sustainability team. Following the ambitious strategy work The Footprint Firm has supported InstallatørGruppen on ESG due diligences on a number of acquisitions over the past years as well as worked with the sustainability team on development of a CSRD compliant DMA and preparing for the Group CSRD reporting.
The impact
The strategic, dedicated work with ESG over a number of years have provided InstallatørGruppen with a strong foundation, clear strategic direction and priorities and an operating model that enable the Group to execute on its high sustainability ambitions. This work is an inherent part of the overall strategy, day-to-day operations and the Group’s services related to advanced solutions within areas like sprinkler installations, energy optimisation, building automation, fibre optics and solar panels.
