Navigare Capital Partners is a fund management company specialising in maritime assets, managing two funds across a diversified portfolio of modern vessels and newbuilds. With a strong commitment to enabling the green transition of the shipping sector, Navigare partnered with us to shape and execute a sustainability strategy that turns ambition into action, across emissions, biodiversity, and ESG performance.

Over several years, we supported Navigare across multiple key workstreams. This included conducting a double materiality assessment, analysing climate-related risks and opportunities, and calculating Navigare’s first Scope 1–3 GHG emissions baseline.

We helped set both long- and short-term GHG reduction targets and supported initiatives to improve vessel energy efficiency through co-investments with customers, directly avoiding significant GHG emissions.
To expand beyond climate, we also conducted a biodiversity impact assessment to identify and quantify value chain impacts and guide future action to reduce nature-related risks.

Our collaboration enabled Navigare to move from ambition to implementation, grounding its sustainability efforts in data, action, and sector relevance.

The strategy is now supported by concrete targets, investment-led impact initiatives, and a clearer understanding of environmental risks, making Navigare well-positioned to contribute to the decarbonisation and broader sustainability transition of global shipping.
