Sofie Linnea Romme

Sofie is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics at the University of Copenhagen with a focus on climate and environmental economics. Sofie holds a BSc in Environmental and Agricultural Economics from the University of Copenhagen, where she did her thesis on Energy Economics. As part of this degree, Sofie completed an exchange program at Monash University in Melbourne with a focus on climate change.​​

During her studies, Sofie has worked as a student assistant at the Danish Ministry of Environment where she gained useful insights into the political aspects and structures of environmental matters. Recently, Sofie has worked as a student assistant at the Danish start-up Klimate, where she assisted in creating carbon removal portfolios and strategies for clients.

Sofie is passionate about creating solutions on all aspects of sustainability and is especially interested in how organizations and companies can measure, calculate, and report on their progress in the best possible way.
