We are active, hands-on early stage investors investing in brave, ambitious start-up companies founded on scalable business models addressing the climate crisis.
OUR INVESTMENT PURPOSE
We invest to have a positive impact on the World’s largest sustainability problems. Though we aim to make our investments as profitable and scalable as possible and only invest in cases we believe are commercially viable, the return is the secondary objective.
We cannot accept profits without impact.
We invest to provide additionality through our active ownership and want to be part of an active partnership with our investments, where we contribute with the personal and professional skills that we have. We do not invest in cases where this is not valued or needed – and will exit when the investments reach a point where we as an active partner are no longer needed.
INSPIRATION & KNOWLEDGE
We invest to be inspired by and learn from the entrepreneurs we work with. We truly believe that we become smarter, wiser and prouder through our interactions with our investments and see this as a central part of building best in class knowledge within sustainability.
We ourselves are entrepreneurs with personal experience from building, scaling and selling companies. We believe that investing with a focus on short-term profits is unsound and we are dedicated to helping channel capital towards purpose-driven start-ups built on business models with long-term, sustainable potential.
It is our firm belief that contributing to solving the greatest challenge of our time will drive commercial success in the long run. We are in this for the long run with no specific investment thresholds and timelines.
We invest in ambitious start-ups and scale-ups and help them realise their impact potential. We are industry agnostic, but solely invest in business models with sustainability at the very core where commercial scaling is directly linked to the sustainability contribution.
We only invest in cases we believe are commercially viable with considerable business and impact potential, but return remains secondary to impact for us.
